molly flatt is in the house, author, journalist, editor at the bookseller, she brought an umbrella, a spectacularly ambitious, genre-defying and quite magical debut novel and a lot of opinions on publishing, creativity and everything else. even a short crash of second life did not stop the conversation so prepare for plenty food for thought [holding you over for next week we are sure!] >> enjoy:
and some more to read and watch below:
- the original live stream from this past wednesday:
- molly’s novel takes place in the northern isles region of scotland and i would be remiss not to post here the images i assembled for this show [there are regions like this in sl of course and those private islands are a lot cheaper too]:

- molly is in charge of “futurebook” which this year takes place online only!

- molly was so nice as to publish my commentary about the sl book club on the bookseller dot com the same day as the show >>> please check it out and share it with a friend!

- btw = we are meeting on the off-hourse at book club island as well, specifically every first friday of the month at the “tell it like it’s lived” meetings!
- what else is happening in second life? well: first of all a call to action for a very special holiday story [and no = hugh jackman is not part of this project!] :
- tomorrow [if you listen to this on monday] = a story about virtual rememberance ….
- who is next on the book club? jules rivera of course …. get security tightened for that one !!!
