kelly robson is a canadian writer of speculative fiction [and some gothic lesbian horror of course] and she even owns a vr headset which we did not need for this wide-ranging discussion at the second life book club.  her latest “gods, monsters and the lucky peach” is a post-ecological disaster time-travel novella that – according to her – is actually way more utopian than drax read it [which is a compliment since i enjoy despair and pessimism … in books at least!]

special note: please observe that the virus-embodied visitor who is crashing the program about half-way through [and plants himself on stage] is none other than fellow canadian writer peter watts [who will be a special guest here later this year].
