    This reminds me very much of Philips big Second Life Town Hall where he announced the end of the discount for educational sims in SL. It did a lot more damage than saving them money eventually.
    HiFi is still my favorite VR project but it has such obvious shortcomings. Missing text chat, missing destination guide/hard to find content, too complicated, fact that desktop is the primary interface and it is just no fun to move around. Instead of fixing those issues, they just go to turtle mode and try to blindly cut costs in order to survive till the HMDs hopefully are better than today.
