today – as news come in that high fidelity is making severe changes due to lack of adoption in the social vr space – i humbly present a small success story: getting people together in one space and doing a regular open mic event that fosters community, is focused on inclusion via accepting people as they are or as they choose to embody themselves. a community based not on commercialism or ideology, a community that meets people where they are. and it works. and it works better than in any other digital medium [imho!].
