“there is nothing even remotely like Sansar out there”, a statement of truth? I am lucky enough to remember The Greenies in SL. For those with a creative outlook, this was more than memorable. As with so many of the creative marvels discovered in SL over the years. The feeling of joy, the joy that you might just be able to constructed some magic yourself. This was not what I felt on arriving in Sansar. Cold, disconnected, difficult and disappointing, would sum up my feelings of Sansar. SL empowered me in so many ways. Learning Blender from scratch and the rudiments of LSL. A house had to have doors that open! Sansar may work for the professional 3D artist and programmers. For the rest of us, it will just be passive consumerism. That is a backward step.

you are describing what most people felt who came into SL even during the boom when it was already very vibrant let alone in the early days when it was cold, disconnected and difficult 😉 patience = this is work in progress and NOT AT ALL passive consumerism: it is quite the opposite…I am under NDA so I can’t announce our events yet but I am sure you get a warm fuzzy feeling when you come over the day it is time…
